Rock & Rita’s to host second annual “Flair for the Cure” with American Cancer Society

LAS VEGAS – September 6, 2011 –Rock & Rita’s, the Great American Party, at Circus Circus and 12 world-class flair bartenders are joining forces for the second year with the American Cancer Society’s Young Professionals Against Cancer, to host “Flair for the Cure” on Friday, October 7 at 6 p.m.

“Flair for the Cure” will feature the top flair bartenders in the world as they show of their moves and create specialty cocktails that will be auctioned off along with amazing prize packages. Guests can enjoy the party atmosphere of Rock & Rita’s throughout the night as they cheer on the bartenders. The event is open to the public with no admission fee at the door. “Balloon pop” raffle tickets will also be sold by the American Cancer Society for $25 and will offer guests a chance to win a variety of prizes big and small.

The American Cancer Society’s Young Professionals are philanthropic Las Vegas residents who share the belief that cancer will someday be eliminated and that through fundraising efforts; it will no longer threaten the lives of the community.

“Rock & Rita’s is known for having the best flair bartenders in the world,” said Mark Green, owner of Rock & Rita’s at Circus Circus. “We had a lot of fun with this event last year and it was great to see so many people come out in support of a wonderful cause. This year we are taking it up a notch with bigger prize packages in hopes that we can top what was raised last year.”
